If your pet does not do well with strangers or other animals, please let us know prior to your arrival and we will have a room ready.
Late Arrivals and Cancellations
Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment may be asked to reschedule. If for some reason you are not able to keep the scheduled appointment, please call the office as soon as you can. This will allow us to see another patient during that time.
Please note our cancellation policy prior to booking your boarding reservations:
For Peak Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and Holiday boarding (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s), you must notify CAH of any boarding cancellations/changes at least one week prior to the first day of your reservation.
During the off-season, three days’ notice of any changes/cancellations is required.
No-Shows, without notification, will result in the cancellation of the remainder of your reservation.
Failure to give notice or show up will result in payment due for two days of your reservation for bookings two nights or longer or payment for one night of a reservation of only one night.
Insurance for Your Pets
We accept all forms of pet insurance and will work with you to complete the claims process. We still collect the amount up front and your insurance will reimburse you for charges based on your insurance plan. Not all insurances offer the same coverage and we encourage you to look through several to find a plan that fits your needs. The following are only recommendations based on good experiences our clients have had using the below-mentioned insurance.
Our staff will be happy to fill your pet’s prescription provided we have seen your pet and done a physical exam (established a doctor-patient relationship) within the year, and in some cases, the past 1 to 3 months. This also applies to written prescriptions, which can be picked up while you and your pet are in the office.
To allow ample time for all medications to be reviewed by a doctor and then filled, we ask that medications be called in at least 24 hours prior to pick up time. Controlled substances and special-order items may require 1-3 days depending on the type of medication.
Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Additional fees are charged for walk-in and emergency admissions.
All payments are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Care Credit. The owner of the card must be present at check out.
