APPOINTMENT
Please read all of our policies below. If you have any questions, please contact us at 719-528-1693.
Patient Arrival

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. If your pet does not do well with strangers or other animals, please let us know prior to your arrival, and we will have a room ready.

Late Arrivals and Cancellations

Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment may be asked to reschedule. If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment for some reason, please call the office as soon as you can. This will allow us to see another patient during that time.

Please note our cancellation policy prior to booking your boarding reservations:

For Peak Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and Holiday boarding (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s), you must notify Centennial Animal Hospital of any boarding cancellations/changes at least one week prior to the first day of your reservation.

During the off-season, three days’ notice of any changes/cancellations is required.

No-shows without notification will result in the cancellation of the remainder of your reservation.

Failure to give notice or show up will result in payment being charged for two days of your reservation (for bookings two nights or longer) or one night of a reservation (if only one night).

Insurance for Your Pets

We accept all forms of pet insurance and will work with you to complete the claims process. We still collect the total amount upfront, and your insurance will reimburse you for charges based on your insurance plan. Not all insurances offer the same coverage, and we encourage you to look through several to find a plan that fits your needs. The following are only recommendations based on good experiences our clients have had using the below-mentioned insurance.

Prescription Policy

Our staff will be happy to fill your pet’s prescription provided we have seen your pet and done a physical exam (established a doctor-patient relationship) within the year, and in some cases, the past 1 to 3 months. This also applies to written prescriptions, which can be picked up while you and your pet are in the office.

To allow ample time for all medications to be reviewed by a doctor and then filled, we ask that medications be called in at least 24 hours before pick-up time. Controlled substances and special-order items may require 1-3 days, depending on the type of medication.

Appointments

For your convenience, we offer weekday appointments Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5:30 PM. We also offer Saturday appointments from 8 AM until 11:30 AM. To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.

Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Additional fees are charged for walk-in and emergency admissions.

Payment Information

All payments are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit. The owner of the card must be present at check out.

We understand your dedication to your pet’s healthcare, and we are dedicated to making it affordable for everyone.
